  1. These are gorgeous Lynn – anytime you’d like to be profiled in PASS IT ON – just let me know.

    Jackie (definitely less stressed)

Oohh, thanks Jackie – I would be thrilled! I’m pretty green in the illustrating stakes – just getting back into it all again. It’s great therapy!

  2. They’re great, Lynn. You’re hiding your light under that proverbial lump of straw. Go for it!! :)

Thanks, Sheryl. I’m procrastinating over my novel! But I WILL write today. I promise. I’m making it an illustration free day!

  3. Your drawings are delightful. Do you have some of them in series like a cartoon script. You are very inventive.. I am a painting artist who enjoys the simplicity and abstract quality that goes into good drawings and styles. You are good, young lady. I used your approach to develop my painting abilities familiarizing my self with the historical relationship and geographical locations where my mentors painted. For story telling illustrators that location is located in the mazes of your mind and you have a good one. Enjot exploring it as we will enjoy viewing it.

      Hi George,

Thank you so much for your lovely words. I am loving the entire process of learning to draw again. Conjuring images out of who knows where. Your words encourage me to dabble again. It is so easy to fall into the arms of illustrating. It feels so comfortable there – and is such a great way to de-stress. I share my time between writing and illustrating. It’s hard to know which way to go some days. I feel blessed that I love both. Bless you for your words.

  4. These are terrific Lynn! Writing and illustrating your own stories could be the way to go. You’ve got such a unique style…very appealing.

  5. I adore your style!
Creative expression as therapy is so relaxing..
Both for the creator, and for the viewer!

Looking forward to seeing more of your therapy sessions!

    Blessings,
    Noreen

Thank you so much! I am still so nervous putting my creations out there but feeling more confident each time I do. It’s lovely when they resonate with others.

  6. Lynn – you are an excellent artist. I LOVE the one of Olly at the beach and ‘Don’t Give Up’ – definitely two of my favourites. Don’t ever stop drawing and creating :)

  7. Love your inventiveness and colours, creativity and joy. Do they belong in stories or just for fun? They seem especially designed to follow a story. Do you remember doing a course in Saudi to do with learning with your left brain using your left hand – you had partially drawn a hand…such delights. You have also moved out of paediatric nursing – is that right? going o/s 24/8. Love and illustrations…Helen

Further thoughts – have loved wandering around your blog – delightful bits and pieces ?pieces of larger stories or complete in themselves. Had a workshop around death and dying many years ago and felt quite sure I had esperienced my death – it was so peaceful. Perhaps not exactly the point of death but the time before and the surroundings. Love H
